I'm Ste Pammenter, a Tech Lead at Acorn Group, where I lead the team behind our household insurance product, covering quote enrichment, policies and claims.

I'm a backend engineer at heart, working with C# (.NET 10) to build scalable, asynchronous systems on Azure. I'm big on distributed architectures, microservices and event-driven patterns, and on making sure things don't fall over under load. Clean code, DDD and proper testing are my jam.

I'm a certified Azure Developer Associate, with plenty of hands-on time in Container Apps, Service Bus, SQL, CosmosDB and Redis.

Before Acorn I was a Senior Software Engineer at Crezco, building high-reliability payment systems. Earlier on I led engineering teams and built SaaS products across legal, sports and HR. Turns out I enjoy jumping between domains!
