Well, I did promise to at least make an attempt to blog about our trip across the country...

Setting off a little later than expected due to problems getting my bike in the support car, we eventually set off fresh! The trip itself was very fast, and an incredible time was made getting to Settle. Unfortunately Dan was beset by four punctures, two of which require two new inner tubes throwing us out on time. The remainder of the trip was extremely arduous. The climbs after Settle were ridiculous. It was almost two hours of climbing constantly. Needless to say we got into Pateley Bridge, exhausted. Now we're having a few beers in the Royal Oak listening to live music!
